Cooking Classes – Learn the 3,000-year-old art of Khmer cooking at one of Siem Reap’s many cooking classes. Typical sessions include a visit to the market, knowledgeable chefs and preparing a Cambodian classic from scratch.

Cambodia Landmine Museum – Near Banteay Srei, this heart rending museum is the life’s work of an ex-child soldier, Aki Ra, also Cambodia’s top de-miner. Sure to leave you speechless, the museum exhibits include the array of ammunition left over from Cambodia’s horrific civil war, paintings of the child victims and uplifting stories. There’s also a mock minefield where you can attempt to locate deactivated mines.

Beng Mealea & Banteay Srei – These two sites won’t add to the temple overload! Combine both in a day trip. Banteay Srei is an intricate miniature bang in the middle of the forest, carved out of sandstone. Beng Mealea is a true Indiana Jones style experience, complete with a massive moat and ruins that peep out from the foliage.

Spas of Siem Reap – If the outdoor massage is not your thing, Siem Reap has its fair share of high end spas like the Visaya for end to end pampering.
